The Fraternity of “Living on ones own terms”
As per one of the famous Philosopher, “There are no facts only interpretations”
So this article is about my Interpretation on Ramu
What made me write this ???
My Reverent respect towards the people who stand again all Odd’s and Who believe in themselves to such an extent which makes them to Live only on their own Terms…but on nothing else.
Ramu is one of them.



















Is he right or is he wrong? I don’t have any interest to answer this as Right and wrong are always subjective and perceptive.
I presume his attitude to be one of the finest attitudes possible, that alone makes me today to THINK ALOUD about him.
SHIVA—Debut film—Blockbuster of Ramu….
Initially I liked this film for Music
Then for Nagarjuna and his body histrionics
With the growing time and growing knowledge, started liking this film for the Technicalities… The scenes like, Nagarjuna trying to hit JD with a broken bottle-The camera Angle in this scene; Chinna while running away from villains, getting hit to the Pole—The brilliance of driving the concentration away from the pole ,till chinna goes and hits it by mistake.
His COMPANY..and the fantastic camera angles…
His Sarkar….For the amazing strength it got…..
So on so forth….
This made me follow his upcoming films.. Some sounded Wonderful..some sounded uttercrap..but somehow the instinct to watch his films continued.
In the process, got to read few of his interviews which made me understand his attitude to an extent…
Attitude..My bigger weakness….Always impressed by People with Fine attitude( def of fine attitude depends on my stance anyways)
The impression droved me to read all his interviews as well as watch him talking….
Probably then I became Fan to him…
He always sounds very strong..When asked

Q:. Where do you find your strength?
Ramu: In my will to be what I am.

My interpretation on why people hate Ramu lead me to few observations..
He is marked as a selfish as always he keeps on telling that “I live for my own happiness”.
As a matter of fact, everyone lives for their own Happiness…
When thought on a deeper note… Let’s start with charity institutions….
They claim themselves selfless ….No selfishness involved…
They are certainly doing a good job..no second thought but coming to this to this selfless ness…..Is it true?

They are serving people because..Because..Because…that makes them happy at the day end..that makes them feel that they have done something good which ultimately leads to their own satisfaction and happiness.

Leaving all those people behind, lets talk about people who blame some one else to be selfish…. For ex: People blame Ramu when he says that I live for myself & I am not into any social service…..
Infact he is far better than a lot of people who are pointing their fingers to him, He is doing Social service in another sense,
By not HARMING any one
By not intruding into any one’s life
By not giving unnecessary suggestions to anyone
By not bluffing himself to be social
By not claiming to be selfless by just giving a rupee or 2 to beggars
By not displaying the fake generosity
By not disguising himself to be an intellectual and behind the screen proving to be an idiot

All the people who state he is a selfish idiot….do they really think themselves to be selfless?
Working for any charity doesn’t prove one to be selfless, thinking about others life’s for no reason is not divine
The parameters or rather the criteria for being selfish are something different…
Everyone in the creation is selfish. Period….
We love someone, and we do certain things for their happiness….and claim at the end, that it’s a selfless Love…
We do all those things to make them happy..Which ultimately makes us happy…and the equation ends with a reminder of Selfishness again…
Love itself is selfish. Then where come this selfless Love exist?

The basic Rights of Human Being are….
• Right to THINK
• Right to LIVE
• Right to ACT
• Right to FEEL

Do every human being avail those rights now?
He can think but many other factors like social acceptance, satisfying the fellow human beings and making sure that his thoughts don’t hurt the other beings are the basic hindrances one does face.
Social acceptance…. Society….Why should one satisfy Society killing one’s self?? Is it because man is a social being and need to get on with the prerogative rules.????
What do these rules talk about???
Why does one need to satisfy the people who are more interested in Gossips rather than facts?
Until and unless one’s thought is not harming anyone… no thought is subjective to any social acceptance…. Understanding this itself is a victory and implementing this a CHALLENGE which Ramu WON..and the prize is the “Selfish” Tag he have now.

Q: Are you selfish? Is selfishness a sin? Are you an atheist?
Ramu: - Yes I am. Nothing is a sin as long as you are not consciously hurting others. Yes I am an atheist.


LIVE: do we avail this right???
Life is something which is ones Own , which makes us feel our Existence.
If everyone can live their own life’s rather than pondering into someone else’s life and interests then LIVING becomes an other VICTORY.
Take any disaster; analysis aftermath will surely lead to a point where in the root cause will be the Interest and intrusion into others life
Terrorist attacks….
Wars….
Crime….
Everything….
Terrorism wants others to practice their own interests..not happening on which they attack..
War…happens when they expect the others to do certain things not happening on which war breaks out….
Any disaster for that matter is because of certain expectations…..
Without expectations..Live and Let Live happens….
Accepting this fact is wisdom..which Ramu has….
He is Living his life..every minute of his life…

Q: Is it my problem if I have higher expectations from you?
Ramu: It will be a problem for you if you have expectations from anyone including your family, your government and also God. The secret of a happy life is not to have expectations from anybody except yourself.

ACT: Acting on ones own terms….
How many one of us can do things only because they like it..not because they need to satisfy someone ???
We need not answer anyone but surely need to answer our conscience
Though people of this class are there who act on their own terms. still they do have certain instances where in they don’t….. and the residue hurts them….

FEEL: Pathetic thing is that, people stop feeling about certain things only because society claims it to be a SIN…..
If you feel something..feel it for all the reasons..but not 2 satisfy someone else…

Q: I don’t think you are eccentric, just emotionally intense and complex.
Ramu: If you promise not to tell anybody, I am also a very nice guy.

Q: Do you fear death?
Ramu: No. But I love life too much.


In my childhood I read a book by the name “Amaravathi Kadhalu” which later on was picturised and telecasted as a serial in DD national channel.
That book is of 100 short stories, in which one was my all time fav…The name of that story is “malli thellavaarindhi”( which meant, Again( another) the day started”)
That’s a 2 page story, which talks about the daily routine of a person, who never interferes into anyone’s life but goes on doing his own tasks, not getting involved into anything but his life.
He dies on one fine day and people come and express their grief and goes away.
That’s the story..
Gist is that … “Though he hasn’t done anything remarkable in his life, still he is marvelous by not doing any disaster and sticking to living his own life and letting others live theirs”

I am reminded of that story when ever I hear few comments on Ramu.



Attitude which is quite remarkable and quite a good sensible is something need to be applauded..which I do for Ramu…

Ramu: What you can get away with is right and what you can’t is wrong. The things which will affect and influence that is religion, morality, social standards and the law.

Q. I can’t believe your rudeness. What do you think of yourself?

Ramu: I am truly happy to know that but just remember it’s not about facing life but it’s about flowing with it. Life, time and destiny do not stop for anybody. It’s up to you to understand it and use its strength as an addition to your own individual strength.

There is an Advertisement for Apple IPOD. With a Tag line..” Your Music Your Identity” , that’s absolutely true…..When discussing about choices and interests and Favorites…
We like certain book not only because of the content,also that we connect to that in one way or the other..
For eg… The same film will be liked by several people for several reasons…
My friend and myself, we both like a film called “Athadu”, both for different reasons, I like that film for Dialogues and my friend likes it for Mahesh Babu.. so the bottom line is , one need to have a connecting factor which drives them to like it.. This in turn depicts that our choice is our attitude most of the times.

Q: Why do your fans like you even when you are so frank and rude to them?
Ramu: Because deep inside they are frank and rude too and hence they connect.

The curses itself reveals his victory, which came out of the Jealous every weak have on the strong

He is being cursed for his Attitude, the same is seething a lot others like me to admire him.

Dark can admire Light

Inspite of all the wonderful things given to man...they often tend to forget the Light in themselves...
May be i am not an exception for that...
Always Humans thinks that GOD has given me alot of problems and ofcourse one alone can understand the pain he is going through...
May be true.. But when one can see what Real DARK means..then probably life becomes colorful to maximum extent...
Today, Early in the morning, was standing 20 steps behind the Bus stop, waiting for my company bus ... observed a Woman standing on the pavement,she was there staring at people from past 20 minutes, she cannot see me as i am behind her, after 30 mins of vexation in waiting for the bus, i went few steps ahead because of which she came to see me and started giving those same keen staring looks which she was passing from past 30 minutes , towards all the people crossing her.
i was really suprised to see her looks which had a intention of knowing something from the person whom she was staring at.
She waved at me when i was about to move from that place, i was just curious to know what she wanted to talk, as by then she was trying to talk to alot of people who were crossing by.
I went to her with a frown on my face and asked her "What?", she asked me.."Are you about to go to that end of the road? if so then can you please help me in crossing the road, as i cant see properly".
Bound for a minute, i was silent and then responded back telling that , yeah sure, i dont mind,please come along with me.
Was making her hold my hand and was walking along with her, as it was Chouraasthaa...need to cross 2 busy crossings at a time.
She started telling me, "Sorry to bother you, i think you are not about to cross the road..isint it??, i was trying to cross from past half an hour, but couldnt find any one who are crossing the road, as you were anyways looking at me, i got a chance to wave at you, or else i wouldn't have bothered you."
It obviously ticked me. I asked her,"i have been observing you from past a few time, so many people crossed the road and infact they crossed you as well, you should have asked them which would have saved you from standing there for so long time"
she said "may be, but the problem is, i can see only objects which are close to 2-3 steps from me, and by the time i recognize , people will leave"
After going to that edge,she waved me back saying a Thanks and a Happy New year.
Feeling is Different from Knowing...
I always know that people are there with alot of more problems than me, but i never FELT the same.Today i felt it
She was waiting for someone to come, just to cross a road, she is compelled to depend on someone, irrespective of her selfesteem, she has to Depend,sounded very pathetic.
I am not at all feeling pity about her physical disorder, but for sure her Helplessness is something Quite Pathetic... Seeing that DARK...my Admiration to LIGHT increased

Money Vs Mind

Money.... Is it Wicked???
Stance..Always counts....
It is wicked when its not readily available in the needy hour...
Other times, rarely a piece of topic to converse...
Man needs for money varies...
Some need for exsistence, some need for Luxury, some to save for the next generations.
Mind can make Money but unfortunately the Viceversa is not possible !!!!!!!!
Got to see alot of problems Money causes ...
I have few friends who have more asset of Mind than Money, but the funny thing is that their Minds are not being capable of making Money because of the Hinderance called LUCK...
I always believe that MAN's BRAIN is the biggest wonder in the GOD's(?) creation, the way it relates things, the way it analyzes, the amount of creativity which made him build everything of this world, so certainly BRAIN IS THE SUPER POWER. Then why the hell cant a man with BRAIN make money in all the ODD situations????
May be because of the other MINDS related in the viscous loop ...The conflicts and manipulations around ..which obviously MIND needs to be capable of handling..without which one ends in making a statement that LUCK is the hinderance...
INSTINCT...certainly is the biggest weapon one can ever have against the ODD's.. dont know how far this works..as i always believe this but experienced only few times in quite a few subtle situations..
But most of the times as Belief is the alone Boost to go on, that may be right...

Enough of RANT....
The simple question always ponders in my Mind is...
When MIND = 100 and MONEY < ( MIND -100) Then why the hell MONEY > MIND??????????

Are we really doing what we are intended to?????

And what this CARE exactly means????
Yes they do….they do care by collecting all the signatures of citizens on a big poster with all the photographs of people killed in Attacks, showing their protest towards all these attacks…

They do care by organizing meetings and discussing about how brutally people are killed…
They do care by having public polls like
“Who do you think is accountable for all these brutal attacks?”

How many of us ( so called Youngsters, Lets forget about the rest classes for a while) know about whats happening with country?
Take the name of POLITICS infront of any person...99 out of 100 will respond with a sigh succeding a statement "Oh !! no man...I dont like those idiotic politics and bullshit politicians"....
Very well...ask the same person..why he dislikes certain politicians and ask him what makes a good politician and what comes to a Perfect politics....
What is the core reasons for the current stage of INDIA....
I bet..you will not be able to find good amount of logical answers other than few supportive statements

How is Religion Going to make a difference..& why does one want to talk abt Religion

Without which..how can one really make a statement on anything happening around..

I often hear people telling that they dont want to vote any politician as all are one and the same..
May be true...
But is that Indifference of a citizen going to help the country????
If you dont vote..some one else will ..in your place..
If we are sinking down from the ship..and we have 4 weak sources to help the ship from sinking...
Ofcourse 4 are pretty weak..
Then can we sit idle saying that i dont believe in any of the sources????
and is that idle state going to save the SHIP????
Certainly not...Instead of sitting idle and letting it drown away..a sincere trail can be made by using the lesser weaker source ..
May be the same Analogy works with us...
Our analysis can certainly help us in identifying the one idiot out of the 4 idiots...who is atleast worth doing 1 out of 10 tasks....
To clean a GUTTER...ofcourse you need to step into that and keep your hand..without which GUTTER will remain the same forever...

VOTING..the Basic Responsibility of every Citizen..We are intended to do that.. and are we really doing that?

When i hear to people saying that.. He is from my caste..he is from my religion...
i am always reminded of a statement given by the Actor,Director Kamal Haasan....
Once When he was asked about Religion and he being Athiest...
He responded saying " For me Religion is like SEX..when you dont talk about Sex out of your bedroom then why do you want to talk about Religion??? Religion is as private as SEX is.."..
Education got nothing to do with Sensibility...
This is being proved again and again by all so called intellectuals....
How can Education Help without Rational Thinking ?????
As soon as a new party is estabilished...They start promising, certain caste people into BC and thus making them avail all the reservations..
Which sounds quite good to people and which becomes criteria for them to vote for those people
How can one call this Rational Thinking???

Raja ..Raja in Whatever he Does...

I read aloooot of articles on Raja...

Some speaking about techincal aspects of his compositions

Some speaking about the ecstacy the tunes leave....

but none impressed me more than this article till date...

Guitar Prasanna..Who is another Devotee of Raja..expressed his feelings in such a wonderful way that....he made me trespass my own rules of blogging and made me Copy down others written content into my Blog...as ofcourse even he was thinking aloud about Raja... :)

A personal note on the man and his extraordinary musical accomplishments.

Raaja (I am taking the liberty to call him affectionately as "Raaja" since he is after all, a "Raaja" in what he does!) has asked me this question a few times– aquestion I don't encounter much, at least in India.
In an age where most musicians (of course only in India!)spend their time reading the latest software manuals rather than reading books on harmony, counterpoint,orchestration or Carnatic ragas or whatever, Raaja is and has always been an anachronism.
I have had several intellectually stimulating musical conversations with Raaja on principles of counterpoint,Bach, Tyagaraja, jazz harmony and much more. (Raaja has often asked me about jazz and I remember howexcited Raaja was when I played him great jazz like Charlie Parker and John Coltrane's 'Giant Steps').Raaja's vast knowledge extends far beyond music.
For instance, I have seen him quote passages from"Tirukkural" effortlessly in casual conversation.In every field of activity, there are a chosen few that transcend their idiom. Let's face it! Film music is notclassical music. By itself, film music as a medium does not have the spiritual depth or artistic dimensions ofsay, a Tyagaraja pancharatna kriti or a Bach "Musical Offering".
It's a medium of popular entertainment just the same way pop music is in the west. That DOES NOT however mean that it CANNOT be artistic. (I thinkreaders will get this 'distinction' that I am making), it's just that its scope and purpose is a little different.Raaja has transcended the idiom and brought elements of 'higher art' into it while still maintaining the'immediate appeal' that characterizes (and should characterize) a mass medium like film music.
It is doubtful if any musician in the world dealing with a popular musical medium (like pop, rock, film musicetc) has ever brought in such an immense and breathtaking array of musical vocabulary and has internalizedand reflected it in so personal a way. (What can we call Raaja's music? – Tamil folk melodies meets Carnaticmusic meets Hindustani music meets 70's disco music meets Bach meets electronic music meets ……….)
What is amazing is that finally it bears a patent/trademark of homegrown Raaja. (It is not Bach, it is notEarth, Wind and Fire, it is not Carnatic music, it is Ilayaraaja.)
In my personal opinion, Steely Dan and thelater albums of Sting come closest to standing rock solid on musical and artistic sophistication, while stillbeing couched in a 'commercial' medium.
I grew up with Raaja's music and I can clearly see how I can revisit his old songs and find such technicalvirtuosity in his writing – his unmatched use of chormaticism in 'Indianish' melodies, his extensive use ofintricate counterpoint, his vast knowledge of Carnatic music, the 'correctness' of every chord in his songsand above all the speed with which he composes clearly show that the man is secure, knows exactly what hewants and delivers.Raaja has raised the standards of us, South Indian listeners so much, that there are many of us who neverbothered to listen to Hindi songs for e.g.. (we never needed to, right?).
He has raised the standards ofmusicianship to such a high level among studio musicians in Chennai (I realized the huge gulf, when Iworked with string players in Bombay for e.g.) that many times I wonder how the musicians even playedsome of the parts that are there in his music.
I have never heard a guitar even remotely out of tune in Raaja's songs for example (believe me, that's veryrare in general).
I have to make a special mention of Raaja's use of the electric bass guitar.
I have neverheard such meticulous written bass parts (its clearly written carefully), as it is in Raaja's - song after songafter song. Mention also to some brilliant acoustic drum work (a lost and ancient art in India) on Raaja'ssongs.
I would like to end this article with what Raaja himself told me once (about the limitations of being in the filmmedium) "Enakku innum niraya ideas irukku. Ithule ellam panna mudiyathu. Ithu Mint Streetille okkanthuJabam panra mathiri!" ("I have lot more ideas. I may not be able to do all of them in this. It's like sitting in themiddle of Mint Street and meditating").

Have you ever experienced a Virtual Guitar in your hands???

SPB…a special mention about this person….
Raja n SPB is the best combination ever possible….lot many songs can be listed to prove this…and Ilayanila tops the list….

Guitar and SPB voice competes to start this melody…..both in a mild tone…..
The third line both start rising in their own tones……
And then comes the MAGNIFICIENT interlude…….
The interlude which is as unique as RAJA…..
The interlude which instigates happiness in all the senses……
The descending Guitar......listening to which unknowingly heart and head swing together in the same note…
Even the people who don’t know anything about Guitar will start moving their fingers imagining the Fretboard(finger board) of guitar in hand….
Following with a heavenly flute…….sounding like answering the preceded Guitar's happiness….
Answering the guitar…Flute continues the tune in same happiness and much sweeter tempo……Haa…heavenly Flute…
The charge of sweetness is transferred from Flute to SPB …along with Bass guitar and drums accompanying him….
After a few minutes of sweet tenderness with the first charanam….Raja takes the charge of throwing our overwhelmed hearts from that charanam to the second interlude…
An other amazing interlude…..Raja…Raja..Raja..Raja….
Guitar …..Guitar…Guitar…..Playing the strings of heart…..Interlude goes on….
The last charanam becoming more sweeet with SPB’s mark of smile at one of the lines…….
POSTLUDE…….ohhhhhhhhhh………

Thirst never ends……
Nothing surprise that this track became a inspiration for many other musicians ..one of whom composed “Neele Neele Ambar pe” in the similar tune in hindi…rendered by the great Kishore Kumar sir…….
Heard from few musician friends that…When they learn Guitar…when filmy musicians come for auditions to the colleges in search of Guitarists…The first and last test they ask them to under go is to play first interlude of Ilayanila…..
Ofcourse that’s a tough TEST..isint it :)
SPB in Asianet channel interview mentioned that… The Guitarist took 16 takes to complete this song recording…
Ofcourse that Rakshas might have composed this in no less than 16 minutes… Who knows??? After all he is GOD …..
Raja…Whose music obviously raises a urge to understand the lyrics once in a while….made me know the lyrics of this masterpiece even..

Music Makes the Miracle ~~ Raja Music always DOES

Life.. the most stupid and heavy word I ever heard..
at the same time..the most sensible and colorfull word one can ever have……
I Was feeling down from couple of days..
Some problems don’t have a solution… though there is one.. still will be having some stupid reasons which will stop from opting tht vivid solution
And when such a situation confronts…it becomes so contagious that it spoils down the mood and spirit…
Was in the same situation on one morning …
Came to work and tuned my IPOD to play something for me…
Was listening to all the wonderful songs ..but was not feeling the beauty of the tunes
So tuned the instrumental album “How to Name it “ and was listening to the tracks tuned by GOD Ilayaraja and which were played by Heavenly sweet Hariprasad Chaurasia Flute
Was feeling okay while I was listening to those tracks…..
All the tracks of” how to name it” were completed…
suddenly my IPOD started playing the 3 note composition track..
which is an amazing piece of work by RAJA..ONE AND ONLY ONE ILAYARAJA …
I don’t know how..but as of a sudden when this track started playing…
I felt all the happiness of the world and my spirits were back..
started smiling whole heartedly and the pain I had till now looked very small before this ecsctacy Following tht track.. Mood Kaapi Raagam was played and haaa… I am back to heaven….
Started feeling… Heaven is there… Hell is there.. but MUSIC can make a HELL heaven… and most of the times RAJA is the one who takes you to the doors of heaven…
He can play a violin to show you the blue sky
He can play a cello to show you the thunder in the sky
He can play a keyboard to let you feel the warmth of the mild breeze
He can simply TUNE LIFE
May be this is what called as MUSIC THERAPAY in techinical terms..
Don’t know…
But MUSIC certainly got a power to instigate all the good for us

For creating problems for me..

One morning when all waked up early in the morning….

They came to listen to some wonderful track being telecasted in TV channels… and that’s the advertisement of a new film of Maninratnam …… who is always a favorite director for most of the sensible viewers. ……

People were very much attracted towards the TV sets …not because of the brand name Maniratnam….…

but the track which was being played in the background………

In no less than 6 days from the time the music released….. Every music lover started searching the inlay cards to check who this wonderful musician is…..

The tracks which drove people nuts ……..

A new trend of music….

A new era of music……

When digged into the details …people came to know that this 25yrs youngster lost his dad when he was 9 and started his journey of LIFE .....

What all his family was left with are “The musical instruments which his dad used to use for his compositions for kannadam film music”

They started the struggle by renting musical instruments to Music directors which was the only lively hood then…..

Always used to dream to play those instruments……..

Started composing jingles…..

Spirit of unity concerts.. The prg which used to be telecasted in Dooradarshan…..

Recognition was given to his Music first ....then to him….

Now people buy any disk which carries his name……

Became the synonym for a genere of music

Neninthe... A concept Review..Ofcourse not a filmy Review..

Never even thought atleast for one second that i will write down a review on this film...

Not even thought of watching that film...by chance happened to watch this film today...
Read few reviews 2 days ago, rated 2 or 2.5 for 5 in most of the places...

Read even few blogs and the comments on those reviews...

Set to write down a review as certain sensible things of this film are to be noted is what i felt.

keeping apart The Actors, The Directors... The other commercial things and Music and all... I just want to mention a few sensible dilagoues and sensible issues dealt in this film...

Any art form is divine, be it films,be it music, be it painting, be it Direction,be it Action...and for a film to comeout,obviously it will include alot of passionated people starting from spot boy to the director, working towards their goal of making a film. Is it( The outcome film) sensible or not depends on their own perceptions, for which may be their own conscience can judge well. So all the passion one needs to have to come into a Art of story telling is something which is shown here , linking it to all the related issues and ofcoursing daring to speak about alot of other issues as well.

Few sensible aspects of this film includes... Dilaogues of the film heroine character who address to media bluntly that "Yes something wrong happened to me ( when she was assaulted by few gangsters,for which media makes a Hell for no reason), Yes and i do have affairs..., please go ahead and write down about all my affairs.., but dont link it with everything else and everyone else who are no way related to this issue, what do you know about the pain we go through and the arguments we face with our familes because of the senseless gossips you keep on writing???? I dont mind if you write about my affairs, please go ahead but you dont have a right to link up things and make a mess out of everything. , A famous family magazine talks about all the blunder ground less gossips and claims it to be a family magazine.Lot of people are doing very blunder things to us, and you people are doing similar things by penning down all idiotic things, please dont do that" ( all these may not be the exact dilaogues, but in the gist that was the content)

That dilagoue made sense, as being a public figure dosent mean that they are liable for all the senseless gossips.

The scene where in all the people included in the film lifecylce are asked about the reason for not having major hits these days, the sequence of dilaogues goes on like this..

A Journalist takes the pain of interviewing all the people

Journalist to Producer: What do you think the reason is?

Producer: Hero's of these days became lazy and not at all doing films, we have 10 top heros in the industry and we are not getting 10 films a year, why cant they work for 1 film a year so tht the turnover is increased and the industry is thus saved

Hero: Producer is not making sense, ask him to show us some good stories, then we dont mind doing 3 films a year. We are not lazy as he thinks

Story Writer: What do you want us to write? For hero introduction they demand us to write a scene where in hero kills minimum of 10 people, by interval he need to kill 50 ppl and in climax 100 ppl needs to be killed. So killing should be the sole concept of our writings, how can a gud story be expected in such circumstances

Distributor:- Yes we are buying such films because these days viewers are expecting a item song, fighting sequences, and they are making those kind of films a hit, they dont know how to watch a film

Tea stall owner ..A Film Viewer:- "Oh they said i dont know how to watch a film?? i thought only these kind of films they can shoot, so i ended up in watching all those crap films. Dont blame the viewer, go and take the film in your own way.. When K.Viswanath sir directed the classy film "Shankarabharanam" he didint think "Will this film work in B and C centers" he just went ahead and shooted the film, and we all went and watched it, which is a damn hit.



hmm... The last one was more sensible.. Yes thats true that one should believe themselves more to narrate a story.....audience may accept when its sensible enough... be it not for one film...but atleast at the 50th sensible film..they may start accepting ( But it again ofcourse depends and varies)



An other scene where in a Fanataic ..Seriously Fanatic crazy fan of the hero always behind the hero ..counting his records and striving hard to keep all those records alive..fails to get money from producer as well as hero..which he wanted to pay to theater management to make sure that the film is played in the theater for some certain more days which will keep certain record alive....Steals a lumpsum amount of money from home which was saved for his sisters marriage, and spends it for his record need which he priortizes than his family is well shown...

May be aloooot of fanatic hero craziest people were seen in that character...

That fellow ends up in a suicide as he realizes his mistake at a point of time, when his mother expires because of his foolish steps....

The so called HERO visits the fanatic fan's place and gives an amount to his dad for his daughters marriage and talks a few sensible dilagoues...

"You all people love us for what we act..Thank you..we are happy..but why the hell you end up in being devotees for us for no reason... live your own life's...knowingly or unknowingly we all are living in a false prestige..may it be for records or for anyother reason...We tend to work with some idiotic scripts just to keep alive our false prestige..by saying to the directors that..this scene fans may not accept..that scene fans may not recieve.. we are being driven into such pathetic situaiton because of your fanatism..if you are so fascinated..yes please comeinto films ..we all will live in this industry... but please dont make your fanatism the base for the whole film life cycle"



I dont remember the exact dialogues..but the sense it carried is what i remember which i am penning out here.....

Fanatism.. hmm...it knows no bounds....it drives people crazy to kill themselves.... May be there is a thin difference of fanatism and liking.... When you love the art of the person..then for sure you like it...But when you disguise their art to be their character..then may be it turns into fanatism...

"One should love one's self more than anything else..then alone would they be able to be far from fanatism....." We love someone for some X reason..for eg.. One like a musician alot for his compositions... One should be fanatic towards his music..but not for him.. like him alooot for his art but not for how he talks with his wife or how he deals with the people at his work.... If this simple philosophy can be understood...then may be alot of fanatism will be stopped and alot of related fightings can come to an end point....

An other scene..between the hero and heroine..where in heroine who is vexed with her problems at home comes to hero and asks him to elope along with her and start a new life...
He responds telling " I can elope..but what do u want me to do with my Old mother,who always looks my way ??? i do have goals and aspirations..what do you want me to do??? if i leave all this and come along with you..and if i always be with you..holding you in my alms.....then one day for sure you yourself will be pissed off with me...., right now..i am not having enough money to have a body scan health check for my mom..then how can i go ahead and have you into my life at this moment??? if you would have observed..till date, though i love u aloot...i never came ahead and expressed that to u.. In my view, any guy who dont have the caliber to earn his living dosent deserve to propose any girl for tht matter "

Heroine asks.. "Why do you link up love with money?" he responds "Money dosent need Love..But Love needs money when spoken practically..."
She responds back saying" how much i loved u..how much i wanted u..and u turned to be so selfish..."
He asks her to come and sit next to him and asks her "Why do u love me? List out the reasons"
She tells "For your mentality, character, humour and hardwork".. Then he continues the conversation by telling.. "true, you love me for those reasons..The reasons which you liked in me... The same way i too like certain things in you... and apart from that i do have certain things which i love crazily and ofcourse thats my GOAL...so i want to reach it and win... Try fighting back with your problems at Home... This is your life....Live it your way...Fight for yourself....You have a bright future... Everyone ofcourse are selfish...They do like certain things and love a person..that dosent mean that they are doing a favour to that person..Infact its their selfishness thats making them love them"
In another scene when she tries telling him that she will act because he wanted her to..He responds back telling " Dont do it for anyone,be it me...Do it because you love it..Live because its your life.."

Hmm..Inspite of putting down some romantic and useless dilaogues ...it made sense to keep some practically accpetable appreciable dilaogues as such.....

On the whole...It made sense to an extent...Good to know about alot of sensitive aspects of film industry which are obviously important for all the moments of the artists over there...

Read this somewhere "Art is the only precious commodity....." .... True......Art is Divine....One should know the divinity of art to be able to do some miracle with the choosen art...Determination and Dedication being the pillars.....or else will end up with a CRAP......

As i already mentioned this is a concept review i penned.....certainly not a filmy review to write down about the pros n cons of the film and the music and other related sections...
This movie asusally had alot of melodrama and other sense less stuff which i dont take the pain of mentioning as i would like to concentrate on the concept of good things discussed in the film...

Resonance of a Saturday...

......................... Trip to Ramoji Film City.................................

All 7 of us..Started on our bikes..Me on Hondactive along with one of my friends.....

After 3 n half years back to driving..... Early hours of the day.... Clean roads...Zero Traffic( this is more important for a pleasant day in Cities like Hyderbad) ...

Going on through one route to the other, picking up friends ..... Altogether in the group of 7 friends..everyone is unique with their own style...so let me give them some releavant names..

(1)Raju...Mr. Sharukh khan.... With Dilwale Dulhaniya Lejaaynge filmi ishtyle dressing :)

(2) Appi.....Mr.John Abrham... Becomes a rocking dude whenever he comes to see a girl

(3)Bala.....Mr.Rajesh Khanna...always cool and confused..as he is the only Non Telugu guy of our batch..always trying hard to decipher our conversations....and succeding often

(4)Devi.....Ms.Sridevi of Yester year films...with a cool smile and composed approach.....but always busy with her photo sessions

(5)Prashanthi......Baby Shamili..as she is younger of all us ....

(6) Murali...Mr. RJ (Radio Jacky)...always with Headphones...with broken tamil and hindi (Ofcourse thats what is more important for RJ's ..isinit it??? )

Trip started with a kind of bike racing....On the clean roads in 80 speed....uhhhh.....chilled air...pleasant breeze...snow.....enjoying all this, one bike missed the route and crossed the Ramoji Film city and went atleast 5kms ahead..giving a deaf ear to the screams of friends asking to stop.....

after 5 kms found themselves lost :( and that bike is mine with Ms.Sridevi along with me.... okay done..came back to RFC accompanied by Mr.Rajesh khanna who came back in search of the lost bike..... As soon as we are back.

.got to see Mr.Sharukh khan standing infront of RFC on his bike along with RJ murali with his headphones...Smiling at us...and winking simultaneously ...which meant.."Hey you people lost the race"....

hmm somehow managed to taunt him in return by saying...we lost the way because of you...you and that Rajesh khanna were not seen for along time so we thought still there is way to go.. :)

......

Entered into RFC with 300 rs of ticket per head..... Started with a SUN FOUNTAIN.... Quite a peice of ART :)...

Got into a bus which took us to a trip showing all the places wherein almost all filmi shootings are done....

Dhaba of Rang dhe Basanthi

Dance sequences places for most of the films from A grade to C Grade....films...

Streets which seen back from the bus look like a National Highway sometimes...and like Ooty and kodaikanal roads from some other angles...

Replica of Kacheguda Railway station.. and back to which Rajiv Gandhi International Airport replica will be found...

Central Jail ..and types of jails starting from Local jails to Theehar jails :)

The Guide in that Bus was the NO 1 comedian of this trip...bichaaraa...tried max to crack jokes....but what can make the listeners laugh is his attempt to crack a joke..rather than his cracked joke :)

The beautiful part was the Street which looked like LONDON...houses and streets filled with London living style and the funniest part is ..back to those buildings, the constructions were a replica to a indian rural village.....

All with plaster of paris ofcourse.....

Our No1 comedian dropped us at the replica of Kacheguda Railway station..asking us to go anywhere to any place including Mumbai, Delhi, Or USA for that matter..but be back in 5 mins....

What a bad joke..Ofcourse he is a Mr.PJ ( poor joker).

Got down at Kacheguda...getting suprised with the exact replica.....

Rajesh khanna was along with me...Sharukh khan was staring at the boards....John Abhraham was going behind a girl.....

Sridevi and Baby Shamili indulged in photo session...taking a photograph before AC Couch made of plaster of paris.....

With alot of chips and Melody choclates got back into the bus ..ofcourse along with Mr.PJ

On the way to another stopping point , got to see some more pretty well intresting pillars and carvings on them...which were already shown in alot of films...Hero n heroine running behind each other..singing songs and rotating round those pillars....

Got down from tht bus ..bidding a long bye to Mr.PJ by giving him back all our Melody choclates( Wrappers) and got into another bus which promised us to take to HAWA MAHAL......

haa..Hawa mahal ..this name reminds me of my childhood days...wherein Delhi Radio station..always at nites used to telecast a prg by the name "Hawa Mahal" with all Old Hindi songs.....

Memorizing all those ..got down and found a Mahal..which ofcourse was a Hawa Mahal..( As nothing is there except Hawa all around).....

Nothing much to look at.. So we too joined Sridevi and Baby Shamili for the photo session

Later on started in search of someother beautiful places and stopped at a GUFA... standing in a long queue waiting eagerly to check whats there intresting inside....

That was a replica of a yester years GUFA's with all the carvings which are worth watching as all are made with plaster of paris with Wooden sticks inside....and ofcourse an interesting LORD Buddha sculpture in lavender colored lighting...John Abrham took some snaps with the Female carvings ( as Carvings cant deny as if females ,which was happening with him from long time)

After the photo sessions...came back to another place and boarded a bus to someother place whose name i dont remember... There are alot of shows going on there...

feeling Hungry..."Bhayangaramaa pasikidhi"...still started with one show , when entered..its more like a Fairy land...with all small small dolls dressed well like barbie girls....

We were just waiting in the queue to get onto a so called small cute train ... getting into which the journey is set.... we were taken round that indoor closed fairy land..touching all the places which were partitioned and designed so that each partioned place represented a country and its culture... ....few of which include…..

Paris with alot of Fashinoable attires......Newyork with Racings and Gamblings..and ofcourse India with all the cute dolls in sarees and Movie Heros faces waxed on the top of the walls..... It was simply a FAIRY LAND of the fairy tales.....

A gud design indeed

Next show was ”Movie Magic”….Felt bored to get into this as there is another long queue… standing there in the crowd for a long time waiting them to open the doors…. Tired of standing for so long…thought of having fun for a while to reenergize ourselves and to save us from our hunger… Asked our confused Rajesh khanna to whistle for no reason…

So he whistled making the place around a DTS theater…with Sharukh and RJ accompanying.. some other strangers from the crowd whistled back as a answer….Situation Sounded like a kuku eager to sing back when it’s imitated by humans….

So this fun went on for few more mins till the so called Anchor(?) came and started telling that he is going to direct a film and he wanted a heroine from the crowd as its purely heroine oriented film..

a chashme waali..went ahead and the doors were opened for all to enter into the theater where in we all were made sit as if in a opera, witnessing the Movie making process over there…He asked that girl to sit on a thaangaaa ( as They are going to reshoot 30 yrs older SHOLAY ) who is named obviously basanthi..

She is asked to imitate Hemamalini …Then they had shown it on the screen how it will be mixed and turned to show it on to the screen…..by doing the mixing of sounds, background visuals etc…

May not be able to pen down everything….but it was a nice technical experience to know the movie making phenomenon …as its always good to know new things..

All the hungry bees…… rushed to the Biryani plates….As it tasted well because of the running rats inside the stomach….

Reenergized and set to a tour which turned to be the more exciting part…. Got into a small boat kind of Ride…

4 in each boat( no water ofcourse..just a kind of boats )..….

Our boat had Rajesh khanna and Sharukh khan infront of us…

me and Sridevi in the second row…

The other boat infront of us ..carrying the weight of Mr. RJ and John Abhrham..The Cool(?) dude…..( Baby shamili didn’t dare to come and felt more comfortable to watch it that ride it)

As the ride started …enjoyed it to the core …because of the screams and cries of Rajesh khanna….. this babumushaayar was crying to the core…..

usually looks like a body builder….but at that moment was looking like a kid of 2 yrs crying on seeing a Karan johar ( Horror) film….

At one end….the boat is sinking because of the bumps and jumps ..which made sridevi literally fall on me…and pushing myself hard to hold her and at the same time struggling hard with the jaw pain because of the continuous laughter on seeing rajesh khanna….

That ride came to an end with the highest scream of Rajesh khanna……

Holding all the enjoyment and sensing all the resonance of the screams and laughter’s …we set our way to few other rides which we saved for the evening….

On the way back ..Sridevi and Sharukh were involved in few photo sessions.. and for the convinence of such Rajesh meenon’s ..Ramoji Film city management made sure to keep the photographs of Monalisa with no face..so that people can complete the pic with their faces…..

After this long break..went and got into a RANGER ride ..which was a real fun with 360 degrees of movement swing of Ranger…

I don’t think I can laugh more than that at any point …. Laughed to the max possible extent on seeing the face of all the friends screaming and crying … and poor Rajesh khanna crying in TAMIL…..

This was a real wonderful exciting ride….which of course turned John Abrham into Brahmanandam by making him shout “Aapandrooooooy”

An other last ride…..

which actually kids were getting into..and into which we didn’t mind to get in…

Small cars of a capacity of 2 people…turning some seriously crazy turns…..This time ..again the poor victim Rajesh khanna sir..screamed to the core and got him self come down in very next few seconds…was silent and closed his eyes till the end….

Got down and had a bottle of water…and started cursing the people who designed those rides………..

Rajesh khanna sir…kabhi kabhi action scenes bhi karna padtha hai………………………………………..

Ended the trip by coming back to the parking slot and getting on to the bikes…

very tired physically..but well energized mentally…..

Though the place was a ok kind of one…Presence of all the friends around made it more enjoyable…

Parting at the meeting points..John found it hard saying a bye….

the sequence went on like this

Rajesh khanna to John: ok dude ..bye …give me a call when you have reached back safely along with baby shamili

John Dude: sure buddies.. Bye

Sharukh khan: bye john

RJ: Bye John

Me: John ..bye…..

Oh noooooooooo….whats this…only bye but no movement,….. chal haaaaattt… go away man…anyways we need to see your face back again tomorrow at work……

Somehow people managed to complete the BYE show and went off holding all the resonance of the Saturday……

Fun to be at places with people who are really fun to be with….

This needs to be thought aloud as obviously I need to come back one day to read this and feel this Trip

God's Own Voice...The Melody King

The only voice which was very sweet and appealing for me from the beginning of my music jounrey.....

The sweet nuances ....awesome improvisations in each song....The sangathulu of his style which leaves a tilt of stress somewhere in the heart which results in a "haaaaaaaaa" from me, in response everytime......

A gloomy morning starting with his "Tholi sandhya velalo" along with a cup of hot milk...

Balu asking "aamani paadave haayiga"... when i am there standing in front of a mango tree looking into the branches for a bird who might be standing somewhere in bushes bewlidered and listening to balu.. and ofcourse feeling jealous

Day going on with "A divilo virisina paarijaathamo..." heart pounding ...sinking in the ocean full of meldious waves of the God's own Melody Voice...........

Dusk with "chakkanaina o chirugaali "....."Madhurame sudhaganaam"...... and especially "Sogasu chuda tharama"....The sweet expressions driving me nuts.....

and the evening with "Ilayanila"...."Idhi theeyani vennela reyi...", "Sannajaaji padaka...," ......sleeping on the terrace....looking at the moon...listening to the jugalbandhi of Balu sir's voice and the music of wind..... the melody piercing all the 3 ears ( third being my heart).... unable to understand whats more beautifulllll.... is it that Moon or is it BALU's voice...or is the combination......

Sleeping in the lap of his melody with "O paapa laali"............... having his voice in dreams......

haaa thats what is called a perfect day .....

Remembering all those silent nights and pleasant mornings i spent with that Melody king's voice.....

The ONLY voice which is becoming Younger with the growing age....The voice which makes me feel all the colors of the world..all the happiness of the God's creation..which makes me believe in the exsistence of GOD....the ultimate superpower who alone is capable of creating such a impeccable melodious diversified voice....With all the tears in eyes....cursing myself for having only one heart which is not having enough space to hold all the ecstacy this voice creates in me....and praying GOD to give me 10000000000 more hearts which may carry all these feelings towards this person......

For most of the people it happens like this....They may not be very particular about Raja...But if they list out all their fav songs....90 out of 100 will be of Raja's.. Thats Raja...When once we come to know that ..this list is all from one single person..then how can one stop admiring this Legend.......

Thats what happened even with me.....

My childhood when i used to like all his music ..starting from Geethanjali.....list goes on with Abhinandana..Saagara sangamam..Swathi muthyam...April 1 vidudala....Sri kanakamahalakshmi recording dance troop..Aditya 369....Swarnakamalam...oooooo this list goes on and on and on......

Born with his music ..brought up with his music..

i hardly know any techincalities of music ..other than the sapthswara's :)

I know alot of people who learned classical music... or any related instrument as such...including my mom.....

but what wud have drived them to learn music is..might be their parents or relatives or friends or ljdlkajfalfjlfjlsdj

but for me....though i used to sing from childhood..though i particapted in alot of competitions and won some good amount of prizes and at the same time lost a few because of some other competent classical singers....never ever i felt that i should learn music....

but this is the person who drived me nuts with his compositions and raised an urge in me to know how can he compose such wonderfull tracks.....

just that curiosity alone prompted me to get into music...that alone made me learn violin...

when ever i used to listen to some of his wonderful violin compositions like How to name it...Nothing but wind..or for that matter ..the track "Alli bhilli kala laa raave" from the film chettukinda pleader........i just wanted to play those on Violin.. that thirst alone made me learn violin..

that ecstacy alone made me know the techincal aspects of music.....

Whenever people used to call their fav celebrites to be GOD....i simply used to laugh......used to think..OKay..They do love them..fine ..good..but why do they want to compare a human being to GOD...senseless..pure senseles... :) this is what i thought until i came to know what Real Raja is.....

After knowing him to an extent..without my knowledge....my heart started telling "HE IS GOD"......then my brain had a wonderful discussion with my heart to just conclude why as of a sudden became GOD...

GOD is a person who has the ability to create

GOD is a exsistence who can make the living being cry....

GOD is a belief who can show the unseen world to a human being...

GOD is a strength who can make you happy .....

Raja is a exsistence who is making me cry all the time with his awesome compositions....

Raja is a belief who made me see the unseen world named as HEAVEN

Raja is a strength who always heals with his music....

SO according to theory of Mathematics.... Hence its proved that RAJA is GOD
